We are excited to announce the promotion of Aaron Chetelat to Manager within JRC’s Missiles and Space Division.
Since joining JRC in October 2023, Aaron has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team. With a strong foundation from his 20-year career as a U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officer (Seabee), Aaron brought deep expertise, leadership, and integrity to his role supporting the Assessment, Exercise, Modeling, and Simulation Support (AEMSS) program. Within just six months, he was selected as the Facilities Engineer Subject Matter Expert—a testament to the impact of his work and his commitment to mission success.
In his new leadership role, Aaron will oversee a critical mission: preparing and deploying 10 teams of 10 Facilities Engineers to assess more than 600 U.S. facilities worldwide. He will also lead a team of five JRC employees who travel globally in direct support of this effort. His experience, leadership, and dedication position him perfectly to lead this growing team and support JRC’s expanding role in global facility assessment operations.
Aaron’s career journey at JRC has been shaped not only by his technical excellence, but also by the family-centered culture he quickly embraced. “From the day-to-day interaction with my teammates and fellow managers to the weekly Thursday morning coffees with Dr. Tony, I’ve never felt more at home than I do with JRC,” Aaron shared. “This company truly treats you like family.”

Chetelat Family
Outside of work, Aaron and his wife Sandra enjoy cheering on the Capitals and Orioles, attending games whenever they’re not busy supporting their three children—including two teenagers and a college student at Chapman University in California.
