JRC recently attended Professional Services Council's Annual Conference held at The Greenbrier in West Virginia.
The event brought together industry leaders from across the defense space to engage and collaborate on topics that will advance our industrial base. The conference covered a range of important topics, including the cybersecurity threat and changing the acquisition landscape.
The Greenbrier offered the perfect location to host this highly anticipated event. The Greenbriar is a National Historic Landmark and an award-winning resort nestled in the mountains of West Virginia. The Greenbrier has hosted countless notable guests, including 28 United States presidents. The resort also played significant roles during World War II as a military hospital and during the Cold War as a top-secret U.S. government relocation facility for Congress. Its historic significance added an extra layer of prestige to the conference.
Distinguished guest speakers at the event included The Honorable Juan Zarate (Senior Advisor [non-resident] at the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS), The Honorable Sue Gordon (Former Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence), and Spencer Fisher (Chief of Counsel at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency- CISA). Their insights and expertise provided valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the defense industry.
The Professional Services Council (PSC) has been a leading advocate for Federal Contractors since 1972, providing education and resources to support the government services sector. PSC creates a unified voice representing the full range and diversity of the industry. PSC continues to be a clear and consistent voice for the professional services sector, partnering with the federal government in various aspects of its operations.
As part of this year's event, PSC partnered with The Jessie Rees Foundation, a non-profit aiming to provide help and hope to children fighting cancer. The foundation's spokesman Daniels Hoffman, a retired senior clandestine services officer with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), offered a personal story during the event, sharing his family's personal connection to the organization and its mission to spark joy in children fighting pediatric cancer.
JRC remains committed to supporting PSC, contributing to the collective education and support required to achieve our nation's most challenging goals.
We invite to learn more about how PSC and how they are supporting federal contractors.
