This October, Team JRC proudly participated in the 49th Annual Marine Corps Marathon and 10K, continuing our tradition of supporting the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). For 13 years, JRC has dedicated itself to running this marathon as a tribute to gold star Families who have endured the loss of a loved one in service. This year, Team JRC raised $9,000 in donations, adding to the $78,000 we have contributed collectively in previous years.

Our mission in supporting TAPS goes beyond just participating in a race; it’s about honoring the sacrifices of our military families and ensuring they have access to essential resources. TAPS provides direct support to those grieving the loss of service members, offering programs, counseling, and a community of care that spans all branches of the military, including Reserves and National Guard. Through our commitment to TAPS, we aim to help these families navigate their difficult journeys, showing them they are not alone.

At JRC, we believe in doing what is hard in support of a greater purpose. The Marine Corps Marathon is a physical and mental challenge that our team members willingly take on each year to pay homage to the privileges we hold as citizens and to express our unwavering respect for our military heroes and their families.

This year’s JRC team included dedicated runners from all parts of our organization. Their commitment and resilience reflect JRC’s core values and the unity of our JRC family.
