We are proud to announce the promotion of Lisa Garcia to Manager of JRC’s SPHQ Section, within the SE&I Division. Lisa will lead JRC’s Front Office Team at Navy Strategic Systems Programs (headquarters), supporting the organization’s executive leadership team. Lisa will continue to coordinate D5LE2 Technical Director Reviews and provide command reporting to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research and Development with bi-weekly reporting.
From the moment Lisa joined JRC, her support to the customer was immediately recognized. Her collaborative and nurturing leadership style quickly fostered trusted partnerships with her government customer while developing strong rapport with her JRC teammates.
Lisa brings significant work experience from her previous employer supervising teams of architects in a project management and supervisory role overseeing tasking and budgets for execution of large scale commercial and public design and construction projects.
When asked about her experience working at JRC, Lisa said, “From the start the entire JRC team has been welcoming and collaborative, which makes the day to day problem-solving needed in project management so much easier to achieve. JRC’s company culture truly does encourage personal growth and recognizes the need to nurture relationships. When Lisa is at home, she finds happiness in getting her hands dirty in her garden. The opportunity to engage in art or cooking projects with her son brings her immense joy. Despite the busy schedule of family life with her 11-year-old, she finds joy in traveling. For Lisa, the perfect trip combines her passion for architecture, good food, and adventurous hikes or relaxing beach days. Her next adventure on the horizon is an exciting journey to Rome and Greece in 2024.
