We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Robyn Burns to Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
Robyn plays a vital role in the planning, compliance, and pricing processes at JRC. She is responsible for tracking pipeline projections in Unanet, budgeting for DCAA compliance, creating the required DCAA annual reports, managing our Unanet purchase order process, and developing pricing for all proposals. Widely regarded as a Unanet expert, Robyn works closely with our program teams to ensure our systems are functioning at the highest level. Her expertise and attention to detail have been instrumental in maintaining operational excellence at JRC.
Robyn joined JRC after previously working at Unanet, where she had the opportunity to connect with key members of our leadership team. When a JRC finance position opened, Robyn knew it was the perfect fit. “It was an answer to my prayers,” she shared.
When asked about her experience working at JRC, Robyn said “The JRC Core values mirror my own, and I love that JRC truly embodies them. It is a real blessing to work alongside bright, like-minded individuals who support and encourage each other daily. JRC is an exceptional organization in every way.”
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Robyn leads an active life. Based just outside of Houston, Texas, Robyn enjoys cooking, gardening, and hosting events at her home—where football tailgates and barbecues are a regular occurrence. She has a passion for wine, with an impressive collection and a special affinity for West Coast wineries. Family is her top priority, and she loves spending time with her four grandchildren. Robyn and her husband of 44 years, a fellow Texas A&M alum, cherish these moments together. They also share their home with their 15-year-old Welsh Terrier, Sherman.
