WASHINGTON, DC (JUNE 27TH 2024) – JRC has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2024 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. Among the hundreds of applicants this year, JRC was ranked third in the small business category.

Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. This year’s honorees include technology companies, government contractors, real estate firms and financial service providers.

“For more than a decade, The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces list has served as an essential resource for D.C.-area professionals, equipping them with unparalleled insight into the best local companies to work for, as heard directly from their employees," said Bronwen Latimer, the editor for Special Initiatives at the Washington Post. “This year we have highlighted 250 companies -- more than ever before -- giving a more robust picture of the current employee experience in the area.”

JRC is truly humbled by this recognition.  The JRC workforce is an extraordinary group of engineers, scientists, and analysts, all working together to support next generation challenges for our country. It is our united vision and relentless pursuit of technological advancement that continues to make our contributions relevant as we work towards nuclear modernization. Diversity of thought and talent continues to be a cornerstone in our business. Our greatest asset, our people, make us who we are.  Together, we will continue to contribute towards achieving our nation’s most challenging goals.

“As we surpass 20 + years of service as a trusted provider to the government, we are genuinely humbled by making The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces List year after year. As our workforce continues to expand, the essence of who we are and why we do what we do remains strong. We ensure our people know their value and how what they are doing contributes to our mission of Strategic Deterrence and Strategic Defense. Receiving a top placement this year is a remarkable achievement considering the caliber of competition being recognized.
